LCA HISTORY

Our Gaming Broadcast Journey

Lights Camera Action (LCA) Broadcasting was established in 2021 following the coordination of Founders; Jackson Brown, Matthew Drescher, and Christopher Wear. The company was founded with the goals of providing high quality production for the North American Counter-Srike Community. Through this we pushed our main goal of limiting the stress and workload that comes with organizations and leagues needing to find production for their broadcasts. We have grown over the last few years into a reliable product for organization to use for their commentary needs. Over the years LCA has worked with over 70 different clients and casted thousands of CSGO maps. Through this we have become an experienced group that has moved into bigger projects with large management capabilities with many moving parts to make it a seamless experience for the client.

Meet the Owners

Christopher "Wearwolf" Wear

Christopher Wear's esports management career began in 2016 with CarbonX League. He honed skills in teamwork, management, and financing. In 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, he ventured into 10 Mans Hosting and launched RankX, gaining expertise in broadcasting, commentary, and production.

His journey at CarbonX led to friendships with Matthew "BignTallMatt" Drescher and Jackson "Deprive" Brown, culminating in the creation of LCA Broadcasting. As its leader, Christopher manages finances and general background operations for the organization.

During his LCA tenure, he contributed to various organizations, such as Strife Esports, CS Out Here, Premier Sports Academy, and JMU Club CSGO Team. Despite changes in LCA's leadership, Christopher remains committed to delivering high-quality, cost-effective coverage for regional organizations.

Scott “Parks” Park

In 2016, Scott began his journey as a Counter-Strike fan, evolving from a casual viewer of ESL One: Cologne 2016 to an enthusiast of tier 2 and 3 tournaments. In 2019, he immersed himself in the competitive scene, creating projects like Parks Fantasy League and contributing to Mustache Masters.

2020 marked a turning point as Scott delved into casting with ESEA Cash Cups. By August, he joined LCA's casting team and co-hosted the short-lived podcast, "Advanced Notice." This venture fueled his passion for content creation.

In 2022, Scott ventured into women's CS:GO, casting and creating the "Brace for Impact" podcast with Benikage. Today, he co-owns LCA with Christopher "Wearwolf" Wear and Zachary "V1nson" Vinson, maintaining his role as a caster, content creator, and podcast host.

Zachary “V1nson” Vinson

V1nson has been an esports caster and host across various titles since 2019, but his esports journey began much earlier in the summer of 2015 when the allure of professional CSGO caught his eye. From then on, V1nson was interested in all aspects of Esports and worked to improve as a player with the hope of competing at a high level. After various failed teams and some abysmal LAN performances, he soon realized that his skills with the mouse were not sufficient, but in 2019 an opportunity arose to try his hand at a microphone.

Since 2019, V1nson has worked in Overwatch, Rocket League, CSGO, and Valorant as a broadcast talent. Joining LCA in late 2021, he would continue to work as talent rising to work at the Tier 2 level in various games in addition to a focus on collegiate esports!

Today, V1nson is a co-owner of LCA alongside Parks and Wearwolf, bringing great broadcasts to the Counter-Strike landscape. In addition to his role as co-owner, V1nson is also the Talent Manager for LCA, a role which includes scouting new and exciting talent in the NA region.

Reeftastic

Reef made her debut into casting by accident. A friend's team in the new European ESL Impact Cash Cups of 2022 wanted someone to stream the game for friends and family. On the advice of that same friend, Reef tried out for multiple women’s teams before having a stint on Hot Flash in season 1 and Team Factor Ruby in season 3 of the North American ESL Impact. At the Impact LAN finals at IEM Dallas this past summer, Reef's love of the game was solidified. She knew even if she wasn’t competing, she wanted to be more than just a spectator in esports. She wanted to be involved as a commentator and content creator. LCA saw her potential and quickly brought her in to cast the last few matches of season 46 on CSGO, working with teams such as Detonate and Zomblers. She’s worked with FlyQuest casting their women’s team, RED (formally CLG RED), and being a guest caster for ESL impact Community Casts this season. She plans on doing more competing leading up to season 5 ESL Impact Qualifiers, but when she’s not practicing, you’ll find her on the mic.

Andrew "Amaster15" Hallman

Travelling across the country to oversee Halo tournaments, he eventually found himself at RTX 2014. It was during a live stream of Call of Duty Mobile he was approached about joining a mobile esport organizer to run their broadcasts and live streams. he was unexpectedly thrust into casting Critical Ops events when the scheduled casters failed to appear. Undeterred, Andrew rose to the occasion, embracing the challenge of casting a game he had never played before and quickly developed a strong affinity for it. His talent was quickly recognized, propelling him to work alongside the developers of Critical Ops in 2020, where he rapidly ascended to become one of the most prominent esports casters in the game, covering everything from S-tier events to global championship tournaments. Subsequently, he was invited to join the production team of Standoff 2 in early 2023, becoming one of the first English broadcasters to participate in professional events for the game. Having honed his skills in live streaming, casting, analysis, and hosting across multiple titles, Andrew decided it was time for a new challenge.
